A nice transitional depiction of the Eastern Seaboard of the United States early in the 19th century, depicted in folio sheet format. Nicely detailed, with a vignette view of Niagara Falls at top. Much more detailed than the photograph reveals.

On an c. 28 3/4 " W x 21 1/4 " H sheet, (image size is c. 23 1/4"W x 19 1/2"H).

VG to VG+ perfectly framable condition, some gentle staining in the lower margins, a bit of a crease line in the Atlantic Ocean, etc. which in no way detracts visually. Full original hand color. The overall age wear of the map imparts to it a nice patina.
