"Le Diocesye De Lyege," issued in 1734, Amsterdam by De Sauzet, although the map is dated 1697 in the title.
De Sauzet apparently issued a composite atlas with maps taken from a wide range of plates, many pre-dating 1734 by many years. An uncommon and appealing early 18th century map (late 17th century?) of this province in Belgium.
Very detailed, with small trees symbolizing forests and cathedrals for important cities. In VG+ to near excellent antiquarian condition. With beautiful full hand color and a charming pictorial cartouche.
Sheet measures c. 15 3/4" W x 10 1/4" H, image measures c. 9 7/8" W x 7 1/4" H.
